Achievements Defined

Cub Scouts work on their Wolf (second grade) or Bear (third grade) badges. Those badges are awarded at pack meetings, but you can recognize your Cub Scouts' progress with the Immediate Recognition Kit, giving each boy a bead for each three requirements he completes.

Clarksdale native Linda DeVault Booker, daughter of Anne DeVault and the late A.D. DeVault, was recently named Chief Financial Officer of the Year by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Booker was chosen for the honor out of all male finalists. She is currently one of the few women in the executive branch of a national real estate developer.

Scouts Had Grand Event

My son, Andrew, went to Cub Scout day camp at Camp Reeves, which was held recently, and I want to give much more than credit to the hosts. Mel and Maggie Kennedy did a tremendous job at organizing all the events that were held daily. Graduating class celebrates Somers legacy
